For example, when in standby mode, pressing the home button used to immediately turn on the screen (with slider to unlock). Now, with 3.1, it takes 3 to 4 seconds for the screen to display.<br /><br />The 3.1 update did not enable the skip (forward / back) buttons on Bluetooth head sets. <br /><br />I also stumbled on this gem related to MS Exchange:<br />http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-10354209-37.html<br /><br />It seems that previous to 3.1, iPhones falsely advertised to Exchange 2007 servers that the devices were encrypted. iPhone and iPhone 3G do not have hardware encryption, 3GS does.
